SXSW 2014 starts on Friday March 7th in Austin, Texas and Uberpong are going to be in the thick of it. Here are a list of events we are involved with:
1). Big Commerce Garden Party
Where: Old Skool
When: Friday March 7th from 5-7pm.
Uberpong will be putting a ping pong table in the bar on Dirty 6th so come and try out Big Commerce’s custom ping pong paddles & kick off SXSW in style. 2). The Broad Green Room
Where: East Austin Private Home – 1303 E 7th St.
When: March 7th-9th.
To celebrate the premier of tennis movie Break Point, Uberpong have put a ping pong table in a vintage house in East Austin. The Broad Green Room will entertain film and interactive insiders. Come down and try out Break Point’s custom ping pong paddles.
3). Tribe For The Masses
Where: 315 Congress Ave
When: All of March
After the success of their pop-up shop above Royal Blue Grocery last year, Tribe For The Masses returns for a SXSW retail fest! Soak up Downtown Austin and Congress before ducking into Tribe to check out the coolest products in Austin (and the US). Uberpong’s designer ping pong paddles will be on show and there will be an impromptu ping pong tournament during SXSW where you will have a chance to win paddles. 4). Ping Pong Summer (Austin premiere anti-SXSW after party).
Where: Secret Location
When: Friday March 7th, midnight.
Following the success of the world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, Ping Pong Summer comes to Austin. Uberpong will be there and playing with the custom paddles we did for the movie. Check out our Facebook page for photos from the after party.
5). East Side Warehouse Party (TBA)
Keep your eyes on our blog and Instagram for news. It will be huge, there will be big acts, lots of alcohol and some serious stories for Monday morning!
